Buyer Evaluations

My 3 year old got this from Santa for Xmas and he loves it! The sound effects are awesome, hoorah! Straightforward to fly due to the built in deal with (with trigger for sound effects). Toy appears durable. My only complaint is that the rescue hook is what automates the rotor blades, so you pull the cord on the hook and let it go to spin the blades. Although that in itself is entertaining, trying to use the hook to rescue soldiers is much more challenging b/c it desires to wind itself back up (therefore the four star rating as an alternative of 5).

My son (3 1/two) got this toy for X-Mas and he is loving it. The Helicopter meet my expectations, it is sturdy and particularly good good quality. The only disapointing point is that only the rescue hook ("the claw!") is generating the rotor blades move, it would be significantly a lot more entertaining, if the rotor could be automated by the trigger and the sounds by an extra button - that would make sense.
Regrettably, the soldiers are way also little for this size of helicopter. There is no "sitting" figure, also no 1, who can be a pilot and - Amazon zoom picture shows two soldiers, one of them is medic with an aid bag. But in the box there is no medic! 1 of the small soldiers has a radio and a further 1 with binoculars. No medic! Incredibly disappointing for my son, because his dad is a combat medic!
But my son resolved all the troubles - a guy from some toy construction set is now flying the helicopter (former this guy was operating a forklift). The soldiers from Toy Story Bucket of Soldiers Toy Story Bucket o Soldiers, that he also got for X-Mas - are now performing the duty, since their size comes closer with the size of the helicopter and two little guys, that came with the helicopter - my son calls them "little me".
Summary: a really good, realistic and sturdy toy, but demands some improvement. That is why four stars and not five.
