I have a small squadron of mini helicopters and this one particular is by far the very best so far. I read amazing reviews of the Syma S107. I was rather pleased with it compared to some of the older Syma models. Then I saw the positive evaluations for this and thought I would give it a go. It flies extremely well! Quiter than the other seven helicopters I have and so stable, smooth, and responsive. It is a small slow with forward and reverse momentum, but not negative. Slow is much easier to control...perhaps that was intentional. We fly these each and every day in the office and this hands down outperforms everthing else.

Heard the S108G Cobra is decent also but have not tried it. My deployment to Iraq is practically more than, so I almost certainly will not be acquiring any alot more toys.

What a difference a gyro tends to make! Outstanding...I tried one particular of the 1st gen micro R/C copters (no gyro on those) not lengthy immediately after they came out, and identified them to be tremendously hard to control and not significantly enjoyable for the reason that of it.
This generation with the gyro is just amazing even though...SO stable, SO painless - but not boring. There is nonetheless a finding out curve for complete R/C noobies that will make this a outstanding 1st R/C copter, but I appear at it nearly like a challenge...trying to master this little beast is Enjoyable!
This also in fact looks like a true helicopter, compared to the ones I purchased previously, which looked like....nicely like R/C copters - totally unrealistic.
The LED lights are awesome so you can fly at night (my kids Enjoy that - the dog...not so substantially), and the thing even seems to behave like a real helicopter, with ground effect and getting to cut down speed (thrust?) to tilt forward (I am no pilot or physicist, but I do know that the prior models I tried did not give me any sort of sense of "this point FEELS like I am flying a authentic helicopter!")
Gonna cease now since I sound like I function for the corporation (not even confident who the firm is truly, but whoever it is, they sorely will need an English native to write the English portion of the instruction manual!)

FYI if you are interested in modding your Syma (particularly, the low-priced, simple and awesome tail rotor mod that tends to make it more rapidly and additional agile), you should purchase the model that looks like the R/C copter (107G I think).
