Customer Reviews
This toy is a ton of entertaining. We bought it for our 3.five year old, but the 6 and 2 year olds play with it just as significantly. It is so basic for them to construct vehicles, we can get a tiny peace and quiet! Speaking of quiet, the clicking sound is particularly annoying and loud, having said that...if you get rid of the four screws from the most important piece (with the battery compartment) cautiously, you will uncover the culprit. There is a plastic piece that clicks against 1 of the gears and is held on by 1 screw. Basically get rid of it and put the best back on. Tada. Don't let the noise preserve you from this cool toy.
This toy is both Quite noisy and extremely frustrating to my children.
The toy is frustrating because if you so substantially as breath close to it the complete thing falls to pieces and requirements to be built again. My 3 year old has learned to perform about the fragility of his creations and is just cautious since he likes to watch it motor about the floor.
Then there is the NOISE. This thing is absolutely ridiculous in the amount of noise it tends to make. I was continuously generating the youngsters go play someplace else mainly because it is just astounding how loud it is. This may well be the loudest toy we have and we have alot of toys.
So... I took matters into my own hands. I opened the motor to seek and destroy the clicker.
For anybody who is so fully irritated with this issue as I was, it is essentially fairly simple to remove the clicker. Don't do what I did and take the whole factor apart to be sitting in a pile of gears thinking "now where is that clicker".
Set the motor on a surface with the screws facing up. Remove the 4 screws then gently lift the cover straight up. Now flip that cover over. Do you see the small white thingie sticking out? That is your noise maker, unscrew its one particular screw and throw the screw and the piece of plastic in the garbage. Now put the cover back on and you are really good to go.
