We truly get pleasure from this helicopter, which was on sale for about $20 and for this reason was also a excellent value. On the other hand, the usefulness of this toy probably varies depending on the age and skills of the person carrying out the flying. Our third-grader can fly it, but not with out crashing it accidentally, which could hurt either indoor items or the helicopter itself. We'll keep attempting, though, and in another year or two hopefully we can hand it over to the children. Meanwhile, the adults enjoy playing with it! We have a nephew age 9 who can easily fly this helicopter by himself, though, so we bought him 1 too! He has a great deal more knowledge with this type of toy and also has a improved indoor location to fly it without having crashing into valuables.
The battery desires frequent recharging, and there is a separate accessory you can get to speed recharging and extend your battery life. I assume this is worth it given that the price of the item itself is not high, and battery life will make a several in your enjoyment and use.
