Consumer Critiques

Bought this for my son for his 8th Birthday. What a disappointment. The factor doesn't fly...it just spins about. I tried to adjust the "trim" for 15 minutes. No such luck. I got suckered into a lightening deal rather of trusting the reviews like usual. The only reason it got 1 star is because it has a cool carrying case. This will make it significantly more hassle-free to send back. It stinks the consumer has to pay for the return freight on an item that is 100% defective that must fall on the vendor. The truth that one reviewer gave this a fantastic critique tends to make me believe the QA is much less than outstanding. It basically comes down to luck of the draw. At present on the evaluations they are 1 for 3...nice batting typical for a baseball player. Not so fantastic for a manufacturer.

These Air Hogs "Pocket Copters" are a lot of enjoyable and are nicely designed, but they might possibly frustrate younger young children. My teen son received two of these as gifts and we really enjoyed flying them when we got the hang of controlling them. Right here are my observations:
Pros -
+ Controllable as soon as the "trim" was set (see "Cons", beneath), this is surprisingly simple to fly
+ Tough we have crashed these into the ceiling, into walls, into furniture, and on to challenging floors, with the most important "harm" was the landing skids popping off and they just popped back ideal back on
+ Wonderful Case the best and bottom of the product packaging snap together and consists of the integrated charger (takes 6-AA batteries, not included) and holds the controller (takes 3-AAA batteries, not included) and the helicopter
Cons -
- Short Flying Time roughly five-7 minutes of flight time per charge
- Extended Charge Time roughly 30 or so minutes to totally charge
- Lengthy Time Among Use and Charging instructions advised waiting 15-minutes following use for the battery to cool down before recharging
- "Trim" should be set every single time the helicopter is implemented, which takes away from the controlled flying time
Misc -
Infrared (IR) Controller these are not radio controlled, but rather use IR light which needs the controller to be in direct sight of the helicopter
Comes In Completely different Frequencies We have an "A" and a "B" controller (marked on the packaging) so we can have both helicopters flying at the same time
Read the Instructions there are a lot of small particulars, ranging from charging to flying, that tends to make reading the instructions particularly worthwhile to get the greatest performance out of the helicopter
In summary, these are particularly cool little helicopters that are a lot of enjoyable to fly but anticipate a lot of down time amongst flights.
Advised!
