We have had the Take-A-Portion Airplane (and Take-A-Part Crane Truck) for more than four years. They are each especially durable and fun for youngsters of many ages. My oldest son got them when he was 3 years old. He loved to take them apart and place them together (with aid) and he played with them alot when they had been together. At 7, he can place them together himself and he nevertheless plays with them on occasion.
My younger son began playing with them when he was two. He does the exact same point...loves to take them apart and put them back together with help. He also plays with them alot once they are together, even to the point of throwing the plane via the air, so it could fly. :-) Following his initial try, we didn't let him do that, but it didn't hurt the toy at all. It is quite strong and durable.
I very suggest these toys since they are especially durable and exceptionally entertaining. In addition, every of them come in their personal durable plastic boxes which contain all the parts when they are not becoming played with. Just after four years and an across country move, we did lose two modest components. I named the manufacturer and they sent me the two parts cost-free of charge. You can't ask for better service.

This toy has supplied Several hours of entertainment for my 3 year old son. For the initially week or so he required some support to bear in mind exactly where all the parts went, but soon he was placing it together all by himself. Months later he nevertheless loves to put it together and take it apart. He's brought it to show and tell at preschool repeatedly b/c he's so proud of it. And it tends to make me smile to watch him learn how things have parts and how they go together and can come back apart. And it is fairly durable. Nice heavy plastic. It has been thrown about when he tries to make it fly and every single single part is still in 1 piece and crack totally free! Enjoy this toy! We have not too long ago purchased the Take A Portion Crane for Easter and have high hopes for it as well.
