My daughter received this toy as a gift at eight months old. She is now ten 1/two months old. It is a decent toy and my daughter likes it a lot, but it scores rather high on the drive-me-crazy meter.
Pros:
-Lots of distinctive sounds preserve it fresh and engaging.
-Lights and sounds are fun.
-Balls, buttons and rotating propeller provide distinct ways to use the toy.
-Early colors, numbers, letters support with earliest learning.
-My daughter's very first word is "bye bye" thanks to the sound when the toy shuts off.
-It sits in my bedroom and engages my wee one extended enough for me to get dressed. This earns bonus points in my book!
Cons:
-Just appear at it sideways and this toy will make noise. Today it began talking to an empty area. Not certain why.
-No volume control! This is a situation when an individual is sleeping later than our busy baby.
-The balls are quite difficult to insert. Hopefully this will cease to be a trouble as my daughter gets older, since the target age is stated as 1 year.
-TERRIBLE lyrics! "Animals" has four syllables, "too" has two syllables. What? The songs could have been so considerably improved if they had been given just a little a great deal more believed. This is a pet peeve of mine, and so counts as a number of demerits!
-Other sound functions are a bit contrived. One recording mentions "the blue bear" and the sound impact is a giggle. I get the alliteration, but why not the brown bear? Or if the color is fundamental, a blue butterfly? And don't bears usually growl?
Hey V Tech, add a volume manage and employ a person to write far better songs and sayings and you will have so substantially a great deal more of my home business! As it stands we will continue to enjoy this toy (a beloved household member works on a helicopter, so that is what is most imperative to us) but I will not advocate it, and will not give it as a gift to everyone with whom I would like to stay buddies.

My daughter just turned one particular and she totally loves this toy. I like that it has educational value as well, and teaches early counting, letters, and so on. She's been working with it for about four months now, and it has held up really nicely, which is a further plus. Overall, terrific toy!
